Happy 4th of July!

Guess what's cooking... BBQ Baby Back Ribs, corn on the cob,
field peas, coleslaw, potato chips, home grown tomatoes, and dessert
is homemade Vanilla Custard Ice Cream!

Sounds good, except I can't eat corn...and am wondering what are field peas? I've not heard that term before?

We had corn on cob, I just don't eat it.

Fireworks were great, family and food was great.

For the link use html like Daisy did.

Field peas in the South are any kind of peas like blackeye, purple hull, lady, crowder, etc. We had Zipper Peas on the 4th.
